Erin Jones

Erin Jones, Federal Way Public Schools' Director of Equity and Achievement, spoke at the Saturday morning General Voting Session. Prior to joining Federal Way Public Schools, she served as Assistant Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI). In addition, Jones has been involved with education for the past 20 years as a volunteer, a private and public school teacher, a late night program director and an instructional coach. After representing Washington State as the Milken Educator of the Year in 2008, she joined OSPI as the Director of the Center for the Improvement of Student Learning (CISL) where her focus was on creating a repository of best practices for educators and building bridges between schools, families and communities. Erin was just recently recognized at the White House as a "Champion of Change".
